There are several class/core group options from which you can choose, so please be careful to read all the information before you register.

1. Virginia Beach Day Class in person main class -Thursday, 9:30-11:30am at LUMC

Classes for children of registered members, including those of school age, (through 8th grade) are also available.

2. Virginia Beach-VA Adult Ministry 1-online only-Thursday, 9:30-11:30am online

3. Virginia Beach-VA Adult Ministry 2-online only, Tuesday, 7-8:15 pm

Currently Studying: James, Genesis

Genesis- (9/10/26-3/18/27) Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to some of the biggest questions we have today: Is there a God? If so, what is He like? Why is there evil in the world? Why are we here, and where can we find purpose and hope? In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation. It explains how our world was fractured by human rebellion and presents the beginnings of God’s plan to put everything back together.

James (3/25/27-4/29/27)

The epistle James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. This course’s lessons encourage each class member to lead a more consistent, caring Christian life and to explore the practical application of faith in family and society.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry. Children--birth to 8th grade welcome. Baby CBS Curriculum, Preschool Curriculum, 1st-3rd grade Curriculum, 4th-8th grade Curriculum.
